Ingredients:

  • 150 g butter;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 1 cup granulated sugar;
  • 2 cups flour;
  • 2 tablespoons honey;
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda.

The cream:

  • 400 g fat sour cream;
  • 1 cup of sugar;
  • A pinch of vanilla.

Preparation:

This recipe for honey custard dough. Take a pan of appropriate size, put it in butter (can substitute margarine for butter), honey and sugar. Put the pan on the fire and begin to heat the mixture to a boil, stirring it constantly. At the beginning of boiling add the baking soda and stir quickly mass, which immediately begins to bubble and hiss - this effect is slaked soda honey. Counting to ten weight boil until it turns into a foam, and then remove the pan from the heat.

Give the mixture to cool, and then, one by one, introducing raw eggs every time all good stirring. After the eggs add the flour to the dough and knead again until smooth all viscous state. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Baking was covered with baking paper.

So, spread the cream into a saucepan, add sugar and stir initially at a low speed mixer, and then continue beating at high speed. Beat it should be long enough to fully dissolve the sugar in the cream, and the cream has become lush.

Sour cream:

  • 1 kg of cream;
  • 200 g of sugar;
  • A pinch of vanilla.

For decoration:

  • 4 egg whites;
  • 1 g of citric acid;
  • 2 tbsp. sugar.

Preparation:

Butter, eggs and sour dough from the refrigerator in advance, to warm them to room temperature. Then mix the sifted flour with baking soda, pour into a bowl and add the butter, then grind into crumbs all. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then add honey and stir gently again this mixture. Then to put the sour cream and whisk again until smooth mass. Then combine this mixture with flour crumbs, mix well and put them in the fridge for an hour.

Meanwhile, turn the oven and give it to warm up to 200 degrees. When the dough has cooled, begin to bake cakes for honey cake. In a greased form pour a few spoonfuls of the dough to obtain a flat pancake-thin layer. Bake the cake five to seven minutes, until it acquires a golden color. Similarly, bake cakes from the remaining dough - they should get ten or twelve pieces.
